Below is a list of current Commonwealth swimming records. This includes all countries that make up the Commonwealth of Nations. Of the 92 events, Australia currently holds records in 50 of them, Great Britain 16, South Africa 11, Canada 11, New Zealand 4, Jamaica 2 and Singapore 1. This is not to be confused with Commonwealth Games records which are championship records attained in those Games only. Commonwealth Of Nations
The Commonwealth of Nations, simply referred to as the Commonwealth, is a political association of 56 member states, the vast majority of which are former territories of the British Empire. The chief institutions of the organisation are the Commonwealth Secretariat, which focuses on intergovernmental aspects, and the Commonwealth Foundation, which focuses on non-governmental relations amongst member states. Numerous organisations are associated with and operate within the Commonwealth. ''Swimming World'' is a US-based monthly swimming magazine that was first published in a magazine format as ''Junior Swimmer'' in January 1960. It concurrently runs online websites ''Swimming World Magazine'' and ''Swimming World News'', (known as ''SwimInfo'' prior to 2006). 2022 Australian Swimming Championships
The 2022 Australian Swimming Championships were held from 18 to 22 May 2022 at the South Australia Aquatic and Leisure Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Originally scheduled for April, the meet was pushed back to May after the announcement of the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary scheduled for June 2022. This event doubled up as the national trials for the FINA World Championships, as well as the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Emma McKeon chose to miss this meet as under a new rule from Swimming Australia, McKeon was pre-selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games after her successful 2021 Olympics campaign. During the Day 1 finals session, Cody Simpson finished third behind Matthew Temple and Kyle Chalmers. 2015 FINA Swimming World Cup
The 2015 FINA Swimming World Cup was a series of eight, two-day, long course swimming meets in eight different cities between August and November 2015. Airweave was the title sponsor for the series, with Omega serving as official timer. This was the first World Cup edition held in a long-course pool, allowing swimmers to prepare for next year's Olympics, which are also held in long course.
