Cinema Of Colombia
Cinema of Colombia refers to the film industry based in Colombia. Colombian cinema began in 1897 and has included silent films, animated films and internationally acclaimed films. Government support included an effort in the 1970s to develop the state-owned Cinematographic Development Company (''Compañía de Fomento Cinematográfico'' FOCINE) which helped produce some films yet struggled to stay financially viable. FOCINE went defunct in 1993. In 1997 the Colombian congress approved Law 397 of Article 46 or the General Law of Culture with the purpose of supporting the development of the Colombian film industry by creating a film promotion mixed fund called Corporación PROIMAGENES en Movimiento (PROIMAGES in Motion Corporation).Proimagenes en Movimiento: Origen

Tuya Es La Culpa
A tuya is a flat-topped, steep-sided volcano formed when lava erupts through a thick glacier or ice sheet. They are rare worldwide, being confined to regions which were covered by glaciers and had active volcanism during the same period. As lava that erupts under a glacier cools very quickly and cannot travel far, it piles up into a steep-sided hill. If the eruption continues long enough, it either melts all the ice or emerges through the top of the ice and then creates normal-looking lava flows that make a flat cap on top of the hill. Discovering and dating the lava flows in a tuya has proven useful in reconstructing past glacial ice extents and thicknesses. Formation Tuyas are a type of subglacial volcano that consists of nearly horizontal beds of lava capping outward-dipping beds of fragmental volcanic rocks, and they often rise in isolation above a surrounding plateau. Tuyas are found in Iceland, British Columbia, the Santiam Pass region in Oregon, the Tyva Republic in east ...

Sendero De Luz
''Sendero'' ('Path') was a Spanish-language newspaper in Paraguay, published by the Paraguayan Episcopal Conference (CEP). Initially it was a fortnightly and was later converted into a weekly newspaper. The first issue of ''Sendero'' was published in July 1973. The previous press organ of CEP, ''Comunidad'' had been shut down in 1969 after persistent repression and harassment from the Alfredo Stroessner government. During the period 1969–1973 the only organ of the Catholic Church had been an internal 'Information Bulletine' circulated within parishes but without possibility of distribution through news-kiosks. The (verbal) permission to publish ''Sendero'' was obtained after negotiations on behalf of CEP with the newly instituted ''Dirección General de Culto'' (an institution within the Ministry of Education) and the Minister of Interior Sabinoi Augusto Montanaro.''El autoritarismo en la historia reciente del Paraguay''. Asunción: Comisión de Verdad y Justicia, Paraguay, 200 ...
