Valley Plaza Mall
Valley Plaza Mall is a shopping mall in Bakersfield, California. It is the largest mall in the San Joaquin Valley. The mall is situated near California State Route 99, the city's main north/south freeway. Anchor stores are Forever 21, JCPenney, Macy's, and Target. History Valley Plaza Mall opened in 1967. The mall was originally developed by The Hahn Company of San Diego in partnership with John Brock Sr. of Brock's Department Stores. The mall originally had of retail space and three anchor stores: Sears, The Broadway, and Brock's. The original interior was described as "reflects the Spanish influence on Southern California in a contemporary manner". The Oaks Mall
The Oaks Mall is an enclosed shopping center in Gainesville, Florida. Its anchors include Belk, two Dillard's stores, J. C. Penney, and the University of Florida Health. The mall interior is one floor, but Belk and both Dillard's stores have two floors. The mall serves an extremely large trade area stretching into 11 counties with a population growth rate nearly double the national average. The center also benefits from its close proximity to over 64,000 students attending the nearby University of Florida and Santa Fe College. In 2017, mall occupancy was at 96%. Mizner Park
Mizner Park is a high-end shopping, residential, and entertainment district located in the affluent downtown neighborhood of Boca Raton, FL. The district consists of a collection of high-end shops and restaurants with luxury apartments built in a Mediterranean Revival architectural style. The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park is located on the north end of the development, which includes an amphitheatre and the Boca Raton Museum of Art. The Miami Design District is a neighborhood in Miami, Florida, United States, and a shopping, dining and cultural destination. The Design District was redeveloped in the early 2000s under the direction of developer Craig Robins, president and CEO of Dacra, and L Real Estate with investment from General Growth Properties. Governor's Square
Governor's Square is a super-regional shopping mall located on Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee, Florida. Its two-level design was a first for northern Florida when it opened in 1979, and was for many years the newest of two enclosed malls in the Tallahassee area, the other being The Centre of Tallahassee, formerly the Tallahassee Mall. The anchor stores are currently JCPenney, Macy's, and Dillard's. Built into a hillside, the mall can be entered either on the first or second level, depending on where a particular entrance is located. The mall's original anchors stores were J. C. Penney, Sears, and Maas Brothers. Maas Brothers was converted to Burdines in 1991. In March 2005, the Burdines store was converted to a Macy's. Coastland Center
Coastland Center is a shopping mall located in Naples, Florida. Opened in 1976, it features Macy's, JCPenney, and Dillard's as its anchors. It hosts a food court and many other specialty stores. The food court is the main attraction. The mall itself is situated on just one floor, but all of the anchor stores (except JCPenney) have two floors. In 2019 the former Sears got demolished and rebuilt to a new movie theater CMX CinéBistro and uncle Julio’s opened in 2022 in the former Sears parking lot with Twin Peaks sport bar and restaurant in 2023. Bayside Marketplace is a two-story open air shopping center located in the downtown Miami, Florida. The banks of Biscayne Bay wrap around the property with the City of Miami marina at its side. The Christiana Mall is a super-regional shopping mall located between the cities of Newark and Wilmington, Delaware, United States. The mall is situated at the intersection of Interstate 95 (exit 4A) and Delaware Route 1/Delaware Route 7 (DE 1 exit 164), near the Cavaliers Country Club, and close to the center of the Northeast megalopolis. The SoNo Collection
The SoNo Collection is an upscale shopping mall in the South Norwalk neighborhood of Norwalk, Connecticut. It was announced and originally developed by GGP Inc. (General Growth Properties) in 2017; it has been owned and managed by Brookfield Properties, a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management, since its acquisition of GGP in 2018. Park Meadows
Park Meadows is an enclosed shopping mall in Lone Tree, Colorado. Opened on August 30, 1996, the mall features Forever 21, JCPenney, Dillard's, Nordstrom, Macy's, Crate and Barrel and Dick's Sporting Goods as its anchor stores. History Park Meadows opened in 1996 with Dillard's, and the first Nordstrom in the state of Colorado. Both Foley's (now Macy's) and Joslins opened at the mall in 1997, and JCPenney opened in 1999. It became the largest mall in the Denver metropolitan area. When Dillard's bought the Joslins chain in 1998, the Park Meadows store was sold to Lord & Taylor, which opened in 1999.
