List Of Big Brother (Australian TV Series) Shows
During each series, specific elements of the competition have a special show dedicated to them, usually presented on a specific evening. Each weeknight and on Sunday evenings a compilation of the general events in the House for the previous day are presented. All live shows are broadcast with a 30-second delay so that images or language that cannot be broadcast due to Australia's censorship laws can be cut. These programs add up to approximately 16 hours per week. Except for during its first season, ''Big Brother'' episodes screened each day except Saturday. Main shows Opening Night ''The Opening Night'' is the first episode of the ''Big Brother Australia'' series that introduces the new housemates and the House for that year. It is currently hosted by Sonia Kruger. Previously, it was hosted by Gretel Killeen from 2001–07, and Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O in 2008. Tom Gleeson
Thomas Francis Gleeson (born 2 June 1974) is an Australian stand-up comedian, writer, television and radio presenter. Gleeson formerly co-hosted ''The Weekly with Charlie Pickering'' alongside Judith Lucy and currently hosts ''Hard Quiz'', both on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). ''Big Brother'' is the British version of the international reality television franchise '' Big Brother'' created by producer John de Mol in 1997. Broadcast yearly from 2000 to 2018, and due to return in 2023, the show follows the format of other national editions, in which a group of contestants, known as "housemates", live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. ''Big Brother 2003'', also known as ''Big Brother 3'', was the third season of the Australian reality television series '' Big Brother''. The season lasted 86 days, starting on 27 April 2003 and ending on 21 July 2003. The season was the most complicated to date with housemates starting in two separate houses - a "round house" and a "square house".
