Colwyn Bay
Colwyn Bay ( cy, Bae Colwyn) is a town, community and seaside resort in Conwy County Borough on the north coast of Wales overlooking the Irish Sea. It lies within the historic county of Denbighshire. Eight neighbouring communities are incorporated within its postal district. Stormie Mills
Stormie Mills (born 1969) is a street/ visual artist operating out of Perth, Western Australia. Mills' portfolio has been published in two books, ''Proximamente'' (2008) and ''Dwi Yma'' (2013). Life and career Mills was born in 1969 in Colwyn Bay, a coastal town in northern Wales, and moved with his brothers Barnaby and Oliver and his parents Gani and Christopher to Perth, Western Australia when he was three. In 1984 Mills discovered spray-paint and painting in the streets, and at 16 years of age he travelled back to Wales to live with his grandmother before visiting New York in 1986. During that time he also travelled to London. Mills returned to Perth just before his 21st birthday. In 1999 he held his first solo exhibition in Perth at Jacksue Gallery. In 2002 he achieved a Commendation Award in the "City of Perth Invitational Art Award". Shida (born 1990) is an Australian multidisciplinary artist best known for his large scale mural work. Shida's practice encompasses video, publishing, public works and murals. "Shida explores the relationship between Ritual, Sexuality and Love. Psychedelic entities are entwined in a ceremonial act transcending the bounds of known reality. In a world where society’s issues are becoming increasingly gendered and people are seemingly more divided than ever due to the rise of identity politics. Rone
Rone is the pseudonym of Tyrone Wright (born 1980), an internationally renowned street artist based in Melbourne, Australia. History Rone grew up in the city of Geelong, Victoria, before moving to Melbourne in 2001. In 2002, he started decorating skateboards and skate parks before beginning to put paste-ups and stencils on walls around Melbourne. He is known for his iconic "Jane Doe" images. In the earlier years of his career, Rone used to use wheat pasting to do quick paste-ups in busy locations, but nowadays Rone's work on the streets are mostly created using traditional painting materials such as rollers and paintbrushes. James Reka
James Reka (aka "REKA" and "Reka One") is a street artist from Melbourne, Australia, later based in Berlin, Germany. Reka first started as a graffiti artist in the 1990s, moving to street art including large murals later. His work is in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Australia and he has exhibited worldwide. He participated in the Dulwich Outdoor Gallery associated with Dulwich Picture Gallery, southeast London. In 2019 he created a large mural work for the Venice Biennale entitled The Doge and The Gondolier.
