Bruno Afonso David Fernandes, also known as Bruno Fernando (born August 15, 1998), is an Angolan professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Maryland Terrapins. High school career A native of Luanda, Angola, Bruno Fernando started playing basketball in his hometown. While playing the 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship with the Angolan national team, he caught the eye of scouts in the US. In early 2015, he joined the Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. Joaquim Brandão Gomes, also known as "Kikas", (born December 23, 1980) is a retired Angolan professional basketball player. He has played professionally in Germany and the Netherlands. A in height, 100 kg (220 pounds) in weight center-power forward, Gomes was a stand out at Valparaiso University in Indiana, United States, where he played from 2000 to 2004. Hermenegildo Divaldo Pedro Mieze Mbunga (born 4 September 1985) is an Angolan retired basketball player. College career Mbunga played collegiately with the Montana State Bobcats in the United States. After two years at Peninsula Junior College, Mbunga transferred to Montana State in 2007. In 2007-08, Mbunga averaged 12 points per game and 5.5 rebounds in 26 minutes per game. National team career Mbunga was offered a spot on the Angola national basketball team for the 2008 Summer Olympics but declined, citing academic concerns.

He plays for Petro de Luanda of the Angolan Basketball League since 2015 and is a two-time league MVP winner.
