''Royal Pains'' is a medical comedy-drama television series that premiered on USA Network on June 4, 2009. The series stars Mark Feuerstein as a young doctor who, after being wrongly blamed for an important patient's death, moves to The Hamptons and becomes a reluctant concierge doctor to the rich and famous. A ''Royal Pains'' two-hour movie aired on Sunday, December 16, 2012. In November 2014, the network renewed the series for seasons 7 and 8, with each season consisting of eight episodes. The series was based in part on actual concierge medicine practices of independent doctors and companies. A physician assistant or physician associate (PA) is a type of Mid-level practitioner, mid-level health care provider. In North America PAs may diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and may serve as a principal healthcare provider. Folliculitis is the infection and inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on hair-covered skin. The rash may appear as pimples that come to white tips on the face, chest, back, arms, legs, buttocks, or head.
