List Of DSiWare Games And Applications
This is a list of games and applications, collectively known as DSiWare, for the Nintendo DSi handheld game console, available for download via the DSi Shop and unplayable on earlier DS models. An update released for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011 added support for the Nintendo eShop service, which contained the DSi Shop's full library of DSiWare games (at the time) with the exception of certain games and applications. There were over 200 downloadable games available in North America as of August 2010. DSiWare games and applications typically have animated icons, but some of them, such as ''Bejeweled Twist'', have static icons. Note that blank boxes in some columns represent currently unconfirmed or otherwise unknown information. ''101 Shark Pets'' is a 2010 pet caring simulation video game developed by Teyon for the Nintendo DSiWare. Gameplay ''101 Shark Pets'' is a simulation of raising a shark. Players look after a shark and keep its statistics as high as possible by taking care of its health and mood, developing its personality, playing games and training it. ''Intersect'', known as ''Digidrive'' in North America and Japan, is a puzzle video game developed by Q-Games and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance in 2006 exclusively in Japan. Gameplay The game is set in a factory, where the player is a worker who must cut six squares out of a sheet of paper in various patterns to form cubes (or boxes) which, once folded properly, are lifted away from the playing field. The stylus is used to choose between three options to perform this task: Scissors, to cut the paper; Fold, which enables the player to assemble a cut pattern into a box; and Reattach, to erase cuts made in error. Mindscape (company)
Mindscape was a video game developer and publisher. The company was founded by Roger Buoy in October 1983 in Northbrook, Illinois, originally as part of SFN Companies until a management buyout was completed in 1987. Mindscape went public in 1988 and was subsequently acquired in 1990 by The Software Toolworks, eyeing Mindscape's Nintendo license. When Toolworks was acquired by Pearson plc in 1994, Mindscape became the primary identity for the development group. Mindscape was then sold to The Learning Company in 1998 and bought out by Jean-Pierre Nordman in 2001, becoming headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. ''Arcade Hoops Basketball'' (also called ''Arcade Hoops'') is a basketball video game developed and published by Skyworks Interactive. It was released as a download-only title on April 17, 2009 for the iOS and on December 28, 2009 for the Nintendo DSi via the DSiWare service. This was the first game developed and published by Skyworks Interactive. Gameplay The game is similar to the basketball minigames found in arcades and midways. Mastertronic
Mastertronic was originally a publisher and distributor of low-cost computer game software founded in 1983. Their first games were distributed in mid-1984. At its peak the label was one of the largest software publishers in the UK, achieved by selling cassette-based software at £1.99. As well as supplying leading retailers such as Woolworth's and Toys "R" Us, Mastertronic sold software in outlets such as newsagents which had not been previously associated with the software market. ''Airport Mania: First Flight'' is a 2008 Time management (video game genre), time management game, that was jointly created by Reflexive Entertainment and South Wind Games. The player manages planes as they come in for landings. The game shifts through eight different airports of play, and the levels have different challenges, including a presidential plane (which has to land very quickly). ''Airport Mania'' was released on iOS in April 2008 and during that year reached the number 1 overall ranking in iTunes in 12 countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong.
