This is a list of electoral districts or ''ridings'' in Canada for the 1867 Canadian federal election, according to the British North America Act, 1867. New seats were added in 1871 when British Columbia became a province. Electoral Districts are constituencies that elect Members of Parliament in Canada's House of Commons every election. Canada

Charlotte (electoral District)
New Brunswick Southwest (french: Nouveau-Brunswick-Sud-Ouest; formerly known as Charlotte and St. Croix—Belleisle) is a federal electoral district in New Brunswick, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2004. Its population in 2016 was 65,287. Political geography As the name implies, the district comprises the southwestern portion of New Brunswick. It includes all of Charlotte County and portions of York, Sunbury, Queens, Kings and Saint John Counties. Major towns include St. Stephen, St. Andrews, St. George, Grand Bay–Westfield, McAdam, Harvey Station, Fredericton Junction, Gagetown, and the Kingsclear and Hanwell regions near Fredericton. The neighbouring ridings are Tobique—Mactaquac, Fredericton, Fundy Royal, and Saint John. "Charlotte" riding was created in 1867. In 1966, it was merged into Carleton—Charlotte. Carleton was a federal electoral district in New Brunswick, Canada that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1917. It was created in 1867 as part of the British North America Act, and was abolished in 1914 when it was merged into Victoria—Carleton. It was named for Carleton County, New Brunswick. New Brunswick
New Brunswick (french: Nouveau-Brunswick, , locally ) is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is one of the three Maritime provinces and one of the four Atlantic provinces. It was created in the British North America Act of 1867. It consisted of the Pictou County, Nova Scotia, County of Pictou. It was abolished in 1966 when it was merged into the riding of Central Nova.
