Lise Cabble (born 10 January 1958, in Amager) is a Danish singer and songwriter. Cabble has written more than ten songs for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and Eurovision Song Contest performers. Notable songs include the 1995 Danish song ''Fra Mols til Skagen'' (co-written with Mette Mathiesen and performed by Aud Wilken) and the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, ''Only Teardrops'' (co-written with Julia Fabrin Jakobsen and Thomas Stengaard and performed by Emmelie de Forest). From the early 1980s to the late 1990s, Cabble was the lead singer in the all female rock bands Clinic Q and then Miss B. Haven. The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the 56th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, following the country's victory at the with the song "Satellite" by Lena. A Friend in London was a Danish pop rock and rock band that represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, with the song "New Tomorrow" and took fifth place in the final with 134 points. The group announced their split in 2014. Career A Friend in London (also known by its acronym AFIL) was formed in 2005 when the band members were at a boarding school in Vostrup, Denmark. The lead singer, Tim Schou, won the contest Danish Young Talent 2005 which led to the recording of the band's first single, "Thoughts of a Boheme". The Danish national radio station P3 picked up on the sounds of the band, providing airplay for the single "Shoot Me". "New Tomorrow" is a 2011 English language song by Danish pop/rock band A Friend in London. It represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, held in Düsseldorf, Germany. On 26 February 2011, the song won the Danish preselection contest Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in 2011. It is the first single from their debut album, ''Unite''. Immediately after, the single was released in Denmark, making it straight to #3 in its first week of release (chart dated 4 March 2011). The song was used as the Labour Party's anthem for the 2013 Malta elections. Controversy "New Tomorrow" was written and composed by Lise Cabble and Jakob Glæsner. Mohamed Ahmed Ali ( ar, محمد علي; born 7 September 1993) is a Danish singer of mixed Egyptian and Iraqi origin. Mohamed Ali also known by the mononym Mohamed was born in Nørresundby, Aalborg. Sanne Salomonsen (born 30 December 1955), is a Danish singer. She has been performing since 1973, and various songs by her band Sneakers were on the charts continuously from 1979 to 1985.
