A make-up artist, also called a makeup artist, and often shortened to MUA, is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetics on others for theatre, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modeling industry. David Tomblin
David Tomblin, OBE (18 October 1930 – 20 July 2005) was a film and television producer, assistant director, and director. As a producer, he was best known for ''The Prisoner'' TV series. As a first assistant director, he worked on a number of high-profile films, including the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series and the 1978 ''Superman'', and with commercially and critically successful directors including Richard Attenborough, Steven Spielberg and Sydney Pollack. Nick Dudman is a British make-up effects and creature designer for motion pictures. Dudman and his team have created the make-up effects and the animatronic creatures in the ''Harry Potter'' films, garnering BAFTA Award nominations for six of the eight films in the series.
