Lisa Harriton
Lisa Rae Harriton is an American singer-songwriter, keyboardist and sound designer. She writes and records music with her husband Joshua Bartholomew under the moniker JoLi. Harriton is a co-writer of the Grammy and Oscar nominated song "Everything Is Awesome" from The Lego Movie. She teaches Keyboard Performance at the Los Angeles College of Music. Early life and education Harriton was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Van Nuys, California. She began working as a studio singer at age 8 on dates for Disney, Integrity Media and Word Records. She sang the preproduction duet vocals on Rod Stewart's Great American Songbook. Harriton attended California State University, Northridge, and completed classical piano studies at the Royal Schools of Music in London, and completed further jazz piano studies at the University of Southern California. "That's the Way (My Love Is)" is a song written by Billy Corgan and performed by The Smashing Pumpkins on their album ''Zeitgeist''. "That's the Way (My Love Is)" is the second, and final, commercial single from the album, and was released to radio in August 2007, with a retail single in September. The song was played live on the ''Late Show with David Letterman'' on July 13, 2007. Billy Corgan commented that the song initially sounded like an outtake from 1995's ''Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness'', but it was slowed down and given a different drum beat in the course of recording the song. "Tarantula" is a song by The Smashing Pumpkins. It is the first single from their seventh album, ''Zeitgeist'', and their first release since their 2006 reunion. Release and structure Billy Corgan mentioned during a concert of June 5 in Berlin that "Tarantula" was titled in honor of the German rock band Scorpions, with whom Corgan had recently collaborated on the Scorpions song "The Cross". The intro and the outro of the song are inspired by the song "Dark Lady" of Scorpions, while Corgan stated that he wrote the solo of the song thinking how Uli Jon Roth could have played it. Corgan and Chamberlin believe the song is a culmination of music they've been listening to all their lives, specifically the Scorpions and UFO. Ernie Watts
Ernest James Watts (born October 23, 1945) is an American jazz and rhythm and blues saxophonist who plays soprano, alto, and tenor saxophone. He has worked with Charlie Haden's Quartet West and toured with the Rolling Stones. On Frank Zappa's album ''The Grand Wazoo'' he played the "Mystery Horn", a straight-necked C melody saxophone. Ingrid Jensen (born January 12, 1966) is a Canadian jazz trumpeter. Music career Jensen was born in North Vancouver and grew up in Nanaimo. She received a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating from Berklee, she toured with the Vienna Art Orchestra and taught at the Bruckner Conservatory in Austria when she was 25.
