Lisa Dillan
Lisa Dillan (born 12 May 1969 ) is a Norwegian jazz vocalist. Career Dillan was at an early age central to the Bodø jazz scene, where she as an undergraduate in music by Bodø University College in 1990, joined the Bodø Big Band. Having studied in Oslo with Sidsel Endresen and Steve Dobrogosz (NRK takes 1994) she is a graduate of Performing and educational jazz at the Norwegian Academy of Music (2000). She received her Master's degree (2008) in vocal improvisation the same place where she rest since 2002 has taught and now is associate professor. She is also theaches at Toneheim Folk High School. Dillan was in the acoustic improvisation trio & ldquo; Slinger & ldquo; with Lene Grenager cello and Hild Sofie Tafjord goat horn. Other collaborators have been Ingar Zach, No Spaghetti Edition, Helge Lien and Geir Lysne. Anne-Lise Berntsen
Anne-Lise Berntsen (28 August 1943 – 3 November 2012) was a Norwegian soprano. The daughter of Harald Berntsen (1901–1974) and Arnhild Rossetnes (1916–1991), she was born in Drammen, and grew up in Eggedal Eggedal is a valley and parish in Viken county , Norway. Emanuel Vigeland
Emanuel Vigeland (2 December 1875 – 22 December 1948) was a multitalented Norwegian artist. He is known for a variety of decorations of Scandinavian churches and for ''Tomba Emmanuelle'', his mausoleum at Slemdal in Oslo. His elder brother was sculptor, Gustav Vigeland. Background August Emanuel Vigeland was born in Halse og Harkmark in Mandal, Vest-Agder county. Vigeland was born to a family of craftsmen. His parents were Elesæus Thorsen (1835–1886), a cabinetmaker and Anne Aanensdatter (1835–1907). In autumn 1894, he went to Oslo as a student at the Norwegian National Academy. Nils Petter Molvær () also known as NPM (born 18 September 1960) is a Norwegian jazz trumpeter, composer, and record producer. He is considered a pioneer of future jazz, a genre that fuses jazz and electronic music, best showcased on his most commercially successful album, '' Khmer''. Biography Molvær was born and raised on the island of Sula, Møre og Romsdal, Norway, and left at age nineteen to study on the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium (1980–82). Jens Christian Bugge Wesseltoft (born 1 February 1964) is a Norwegian jazz pianist, composer, and producer, son of jazz guitarist Erik Wesseltoft.
