"Liquid Confidence" is the third single by British rock band You Me at Six, taken from their second studio album, ''Hold Me Down''. The single was added to BBC Radio 1's A-list during April 2010. It entered the UK Singles Chart at number 86 upon release on 19 April 2010. On 29 July 2010, "Liquid Confidence" won Best Single at the Kerrang! Awards 2010. Music video The video to the single was released by music magazine ''Kerrang!'' on 12 March 2010 on YouTube. You Me at Six also released the video to "Liquid Confidence" on 15 March 2010, and was made available to watch through the band's Myspace page. The video features the band performing at a music video shoot. Despite the song playing throughout, the band are encountered with various problems throughout the video, each of which require a retake. You Me At Six
You Me at Six are an English rock band from Weybridge, Surrey. The band consists of lead singer Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, bassist Matt Barnes and drummer Daniel Flint. Formed in 2004, the name for the group originated as an abbreviation for the group making Friday night plans after a concert. The band has released seven studio albums and one live album. The group achieved initial success in 2008 with the release of their debut album, '' Take Off Your Colours'', which included the singles " Save It for the Bedroom", "Finders Keepers" and " Kiss and Tell", with the latter two peaking at number 33 and number 42 respectively in the UK Singles Chart. The Kerrang! Awards 2010 were held in London, England, on 29 July 2010, at The Brewery in Romford and were hosted by Slipknot singer Corey Taylor and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian. Kerrang! Award For Best Single
The Kerrang! Award for Best Single is an honor presented at the Kerrang! Awards, an annual ceremony established in 1993 to recognise achievements in rock music. The award was renamed 'Best Song' for the 2018 ceremony onwards, but serves the same purpose. Like all Kerrang! Awards, the trophy awarded to the winning act is shaped in the style of the 'K' from the Kerrang! logo.
