Lipkovo
Lipkovo ( mk, , sq, Likovë) is a village in North Macedonia. It is the seat of Lipkovo Municipality. History Lipkovo was a central strategic village during the 2001 armed conflict between the Albanian National Liberation Army and the Macedonian Army. Today, it has a dam which supplies water and electricity to the Kumanovo region. Lipkovo ( mk, , sq, Likovë) is a municipality in the north part of North Macedonia. ''Lipkovo'' is also the name of the village where the municipal seat is found. Lipkovo Municipality is part of the Northeastern Statistical Region. Geography The municipality borders Serbia and Kosovo to the north, Čučer-Sandevo Municipality to the west, the City of Skopje to the southwest, Aračinovo Municipality to the south and Kumanovo Municipality to the east. Municipalities Of North Macedonia
The municipalities are the first-order administrative divisions of North Macedonia. North Macedonia is currently organized into 80 municipalities ( mk, општини, ''opštini''; singular: општина, ''opština,'' Albanian: ''komunat''; singular: ''komuna''), established in February 2013; 10 of the municipalities constitute the City of Skopje (or Greater Skopje), a distinct unit of local self-governance and the country's capital. Most of the current municipalities were unaltered or merely amalgamated from the previous 123 municipalities established in September 1996; others were consolidated and their borders changed. Vehicle Registration Plates Of North Macedonia
North Macedonia's vehicle registration plates consist of a two-letter region code, followed by a 4-digit numeric and a 2-letter alpha code (e.g. SK 1234 AB). Issuance of the new plates started on 20 February 2012, and they introduced a fourth digit and the blue field on the left side. The standard registration plates dimensions are . Mustafakemalpaşa
Mustafakemalpaşa is a town and district in Bursa Province, in the Marmara region of Turkey. The Mustafakemalpaşa River (Mustafakemalpaşa Çayı) flows through it. History The ancient Greek name of the county was Kremaste (Κρεμαστή in Ancient Greek, Kirmasti in modern Turkish), under the Kingdom of Bithynia. Around 300AD the town became important when it became a Christian diocese. In 1336 the town was incorporated into the Ottoman Empire. It was devastated in 1920 during the Greco-Turkish war. Albanians
The Albanians (; sq, Shqiptarët ) are an ethnic group and nation native to the Balkan Peninsula who share a common Albanian ancestry, culture, history and language. 2021 North Macedonia Census
The 2021 North Macedonia census, officially known as the Census of Population, Households and Dwellings, 2021, was the third census held in North Macedonia since independence, and the first since 2002. The census recorded a resident population of 1,836,713, a decrease of 9.2 percent, or 185,834, over the preceding 19 years. The census was taken during the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected its administration. Kumanovo
Kumanovo ( mk, Куманово ; also known by other #Etymology, alternative names) is a city in North Macedonia and the seat of Kumanovo Municipality, the List of municipalities in the Republic of Macedonia by population, largest municipality in the country.
