Lin Oliver
Lin Oliver (born February 2, 1947) is an American writer, producer, and the co-founder (with Steve Mooser) of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. During the 1990s and early 2000s, she wrote and produced a number of works for television and film, notably the 1990s television show, ''Harry and the Hendersons.'' As an author of books for children, Oliver began collaborating on the ''Hank Zipzer'' series with actor Henry Winkler in 2003. They next created the prequel series ''Here's Hank'', the ''Ghost Buddy'' series, and the ''Alien Superstar'' series. Childhood and education Oliver was born in Los Angeles, California, and was the editor-in-chief of her school newspaper at Ulysses S. Grant High School. She received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has completed coursework for an Ed.D. Wayside (TV Series)
''Wayside'' (also known as ''Wayside School'') is a Canadian animated sitcom developed by John Derevlany and produced by Nelvana Limited. The series follows Todd, a transfer student who attends Wayside, an offbeat 30-story grammar school. It is loosely based on the '' Wayside School'' books by Louis Sachar, and several elements differ between the two works. Derevlany conceived ''Wayside'' in 2003, leading to an hour-long television special pilot titled '' Wayside: The Movie'' that aired in 2005. Teletoon greenlit two seasons of ''Wayside'' consisting of thirteen half-hour episodes each, and they aired from 2007 to 2008; the series also aired briefly on Nickelodeon in the U.S. during this time. A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent). The ''Los Angeles Times'' (abbreviated as ''LA Times'') is a daily newspaper that started publishing in Los Angeles in 1881. Wayside School
''Wayside School'' is a series of short story cycle children's books written by Louis Sachar. Titles in the series include '' Sideways Stories from Wayside School'' (1978), '' Wayside School Is Falling Down'' (1989), '' Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger'' (1995), and '' Wayside School Beneath the Cloud of Doom'' (2020). The books tell of a school where the contractor misread the blueprints and mistakenly built it sideways. As such the school was constructed as a 30-story skyscraper. The 19th floor was omitted from the plans. Sachar released two spinoff books of mathematics and puzzles interspersed with stories: '' Sideways Arithmetic from Wayside School'' (1989) and '' More Sideways Arithmetic from Wayside School'' (1994).
