Suzanne Casale Melone (' Casale; born March 1, 1979), better known by her stage name Lil Suzy, is an Italian-Puerto Rican American freestyle/ pop singer who was mainly active in the 1990's. Lil Suzy is best known for the singles " Take Me in Your Arms", " Promise Me", and "Can't Get You Out of My Mind". Early life Melone was born in Brooklyn, a borough of New York City. While singing cover songs in Manhattan Beach, California at age 5, she was discovered by an agent. She then began performing as an opening act for Thelma Houston and Village People. Music career 1987–1994: Career beginnings and "Take Me in Your Arms" At 8 years old, Melone got her first contract with Fever Records, and in 1988 released her first single, "Randy". At age 12 she joined the label Warlock Records. In November 1991, Melone released her first studio album, '' Love Can't Wait,'' which was produced by Tony Garcia. ''The MegaMix'' is Lil Suzy's first compilation album launched on 30 November 1999 by the Metropolitan Recording Corporation. Includes several mixes of her hits as well as re-recorded songs in a non-stop mix. The song "You're the Only One" was released as a single to promote the album. ''The Greatest Hits'' is Lil Suzy's final physical release to date. It was released in 2002. Her biggest single hits along with some other tracks from her albums are compiled on this collection. The songs all were re-recorded and differ more or less slightly from the originals. The album includes three new tracks, "Sweet Lies", "So Lonely", and "Back in Your Arms". In 2004, the album was released in Canada by the label SPG Music and in 2007 the album was re-released under the name of ''Lil Suzy: Hits Anthology'' by record company Essential Media Group. ''Paradise'' is Lil Suzy's fourth and final studio album to date. It was issued on 8 July 1997 by the Metropolitan Recording Corporation. It contains the singles "Can't Get You Out of My Mind" and " I Still Love You", which reached No. 79 and No. 94 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, respectively. Fever Records was a New York City record label of the 1980s, founded by promoter Sal Abbatiello. The label was marketed and distributed by Sutra Records until the latter went under, which precipitated a distribution deal with Russell Simmons's RAL division of Def Jam Recordings. The Human League
The Human League are an English synth-pop band formed in Sheffield in 1977. Initially an experimental electronic outfit, the group signed to Virgin Records in 1979 and later attained widespread commercial success with their third album ''Dare'' in 1981 after restructuring their lineup. Collage is a freestyle duo, featuring vocalist Anthony Monteleone and producer/songwriter Adam Marano in 1993, who also ran the Viper Records label for which Collage recorded. Viper's parent label Metropolitan issued the ''Viper's Freestyle Hit Parade'' compilation in 1994; it helped break the Collage single "I'll Be Loving You" nationally. Netzwerk is an Italian Eurodance Euro-Dance (sometimes referred to as Euro-NRG, Euro-electronica or Euro) is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the late 1980s in Europe.
