''Like a Cat'' () is the second extended play by South Korean girl group AOA. It was released on November 11, 2014, by FNC Entertainment. "Like a Cat" was released as the lead single. Singles The second track on the EP, "Like a Cat" was written and produced by Brave Brothers and is AOA's third collaboration with him. It is an upbeat track with elements of rock. The music video for "Like a Cat" was released on November 10, 2014. The male actors featured in the music video are Daniel Snoeks (as the banker) and Jake Pains (as one of the bodyguards). Promotion The promotion for "Like a Cat" began on November 13, 2014, on ''M Countdown''. On November 19, AOA took first place on MBC Music's ''Show Champion''. AOA (group)
AOA (; an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean girl group formed by FNC Entertainment. The original 2012 eight-member line-up included: Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyung, Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun and Chanmi. Youkyung left the group in 2016, while Choa left in 2017 due to mental health reasons, followed by Mina in 2019 to pursue her acting career, and Jimin in 2020 due to bullying allegations. Yuna and Seolhyun left in 2021 and 2022 respectively after their contracts expired. The group currently consists of the duo Hyejeong and Chanmi. AOA began their career simultaneously promoting as a dance group and band, and officially debuted in July 2012 with the release of the single album ''Angel's Story''. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. She was the leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA, which debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin was a semi-finalist in the first season of '' Unpretty Rapstar''. During the show, she released several successful collaboration singles, most notably "Good Start" (with Seulong) and "Puss" (with Iron). Following allegations of bullying by former bandmate Kwon Mina, Jimin left the group and retired from the entertainment industry in July 2020. She returned to the entertainment industry in July 2022.
