Liga ASOBAL 2013–14
The Liga ASOBAL 2013–14 was the 24th season since its establishment. FC Barcelona was the defending champions. The campaign began on Friday, 13 September 2013. The last matchday was played on Sunday, 25 May 2014. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 13 of which had already contested in the 2012–13 season, and three of which were promoted from the División de Plata 2012–13. FC Barcelona won their fourth title in a row gathering thirteen ASOBAL titles. FC Barcelona also equaled the record of BM Ciudad Real when in 2009-10 season won every match. The season was marked by the shutdown of BM Atlético Madrid before the start of season due to financial constraints. Liga ASOBAL
Liga Asobal is the premier professional handball league in Spain. It was founded in 1958 with the name of División de Honor, changing its name to the current name in 1990. The Liga ASOBAL, which is played under EHF rules, currently consists of 16 teams, including famous ones like FC Barcelona, Ademar León, Bidasoa and Granollers. CB Ademar León
Abanca Ademar León is a Spanish handball team based in León, Spain. It plays in Liga ASOBAL. History Founded in 1956, Ademar León is the handball team of the city of León. Until 1975 it played in the provincial categories when not existing economic availability to be able to promotion. In that year the team promoted to 1ª División Nacional (being player of the team the currently chairman, Juan Arias). Its 6th place in 1995–96 allowed the club to play for the first time in its history a European competition ( EHF City Cup). In 1996–97 Runner-up of Liga ASOBAL, and runner-up of ASOBAL Cup was able to proclaim itself, being third in the Copa del Rey and obtaining seat to play the EHF Champions League in the following season. Huesca

Pamplona

Granollers () is a city in central Catalonia, about 30 kilometres north-east of Barcelona. It is the capital and most densely populated city in the comarca of Vallès Oriental. BM Granollers
Club Balonmano Granollers, commonly known as BM Granollers, is a handball club based in Granollers, Spain. History The club was founded in 1944 and it is one of the oldest and most successful Spanish handball clubs in terms of titles won. Since its inception, the club quickly got a great competitive level. BM Granollers has competed almost every season in the top league of Spanish handball (currently Liga ASOBAL).
