Life After Flash
''Life After Flash'' is a 2017 British documentary film directed, produced and edited by Lisa Downs. It chronicles the making of the 1980 film version of ''Flash Gordon'' and its eventual cult following, with particular focus placed on how the life and career of the film's lead, Sam J. Jones (who also served as an executive producer on this film), was affected by his falling-out with producer Dino De Laurentiis. A film poster is a poster used to promote and advertise a film primarily to persuade paying customers into a theater to see it. Studios often print several posters that vary in size and content for various domestic and international markets. They normally contain an image with text. Today's posters often feature printed likenesses of the main actors. Prior to the 1980s, illustrations instead of photos were far more common. Martha De Laurentiis ( and credited as such until 1995; July 10, 1954 – December 4, 2021) was an American film producer. De Laurentiis was known for producing films such as ''Breakdown'', '' U-571'', ''Hannibal'', and '' Red Dragon'' with her husband Dino De Laurentiis, as well as the television series ''Hannibal''. Biography Born Martha Schumacher on July 10, 1954, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she grew up in Piqua, Ohio. In 1972, she was crowned Ohio's Junior Miss.
