Willem van de Sande Bakhuyzen (Arnhem, 13 November 1957 – Amsterdam, 27 September 2005) was a Dutch film director. He made his acting debut in the 1986 Academy Award-winning movie '' The Assault''. His directing debut came in 1990, with the television series '. He directed 16 movies in his career, many of which received international praise. His movies won 21 awards and were nominated for an additional 11 awards. Of these, six awards and three nominations were for the Golden Calves. His 2001 art film Touch and his 2002 television movie '' The Enclave'' were nominated for an Emmy Award. Monic Hendrickx (born 3 December 1966 in Sint Anthonis) is a Dutch actress. She has won several awards during her career including four Golden Calf awards for Best Actress at the Nederlands Film Festival, the Jury Award at the 2001 Newport Beach Film Festival and the Best Actress Award at the 1999 Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema. Jeroen Willems (; 15 November 1962 – 3 December 2012) was a Dutch Golden Calf and Louis d'Or winning film, TV, and stage actor and singer. Early life Willems was born on 15 November 1962 in Maastricht, the third child of a drama teacher and an elocutionist. Soon afterwards, the family moved to Heerlen. Willems' father died in 1978, age 52, when Jeroen was 15 years old. Willems attended the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts. Career Willems was attached to theatrical company Theatergroep Hollandia. He could be seen in ''La Musica'' (1991), the solo show ''Twee stemmen'' (from 1997 on) and ''La Musica Twee'' (2003).
