Lidia Fridman
Lidia Olegovna Fridman, born 20 February 1996, is a Russian operatic soprano. Biography She was born in Samara, Russia, and graduated in singing and piano in 2011 from the School of the Arts No. 17. In 2015 she completed her degree in the vocal department of the Samara Music College D.G. Shatalov. From 2015 to 2018 Fridman attended the Tomadini Conservatory of Music in Udine. She later studied at the Conservatory of Music “Benedetto Marcello” in Venice, and while there completed an internship at the Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti's Academy in Martina Franca, with Fabio Luisi as music director. Singing career Fridman made her theatrical debut in 2019 in the lead role in the first modern production of Albinoni's opera ''La Statira'', at La Fenice in Venice. The Konzerthaus Berlin is a concert hall in Berlin, the home of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Situated on the Gendarmenmarkt square in the central Mitte district of the city, it was originally built as a theater. The Teatro Regio (Royal Theatre) is a prominent opera house and opera company in Turin, Piedmont, Italy. Its season runs from October to June with the presentation of eight or nine operas given from five to twelve performances of each. Several buildings provided venues for operatic productions in Turin from the mid-16th century, but it was not until 1713 that a proper opera house was considered, and under the architect Filippo Juvarra planning began. However, the cornerstone was not laid until the reign of Charles Emmanuel III in 1738 after Juvarra's death. ''Norma'' () is a ''tragedia lirica'' or opera in two acts by Vincenzo Bellini with libretto by Felice Romani after the play ''Norma, ou L'infanticide'' (''Norma, or The Infanticide'') by Alexandre Soumet. It was first produced at La Scala in Milan on 26 December 1831. The opera is regarded as a leading example of the bel canto genre, and the soprano prayer "Casta diva" in act 1 is a famous piece. Among the well known singers of Norma of the first half of the 20th century was Rosa Ponselle who played the role in New York and London. The Aalto Theatre (Aalto-Theater) is a performing arts venue in Essen, Germany, and is home to the city's opera company Aalto-Musiktheater and the ballet company Aalto Ballett. The serve as the venue's orchestra.
