Liberty Grove is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. People from Liberty Grove are colloquially known as Liberty Grovers or just Grovers. Liberty Grove is located 16 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Canada Bay. More specifically, Liberty Grove is located between Homebush Bay Drive to the west and the Main Northern Line railway to the east. It is surrounded by the suburbs of Rhodes to the north and Concord West to the east and south, and it shares the same postcode of 2138. The city was formed on 1 December 2000, following the merger of Concord and Drummoyne councils. The city covers an area of and as at the had a resident population of . Olympic Park
An Olympic Park is a sports campus for hosting the Olympic Games. Typically it contains the Olympic Stadium and the International Broadcast Centre. It may also contain the Olympic Village or some of the other sports venues, such as the aquatics complex in the case of the summer games, or the main ice hockey rink for the winter games. Homebush Bay
Homebush Bay is a bay on the south bank of the Parramatta River, in the west of Sydney, Australia. The name is also sometimes used to refer to an area to the west and south of the bay itself, which was formerly an official suburb of Sydney, and has now become the suburbs of Sydney Olympic Park, Wentworth Point and part of the neighbouring suburb of Lidcombe, all part of the City of Parramatta. Homebush Bay is located west of the Sydney central business district. The bay has a natural and artificial shoreline on the southern side of the Parramatta River between the suburbs of Wentworth Point and Rhodes.
