Liam Nolan (footballer)
Liam Joseph Nolan (born 20 September 1994) is a Northern Irish footballer who last played for Marine. Career Nolan began his career with Crewe Alexandra having left Everton's Youth Academy at the age of 16. He made his professional debut on 21 September 2013 in a 1–1 draw against Oldham Athletic. On 28 April 2014, Nolan signed a new two-year deal with the ''Railwaymen''. In May 2017 Nolan signed for Accrington Stanley. He scored his first goal for the club in an EFL Trophy tie against Middlesbrough Under-23s on 19 September 2017. Having won the League Two Championship Accrington exercised a contractual option at the end of the 2017–18 season to retain him. In November 2018 he joined Salford City on loan until January 2019. His club debut came a few days later in a match against Harrogate Town. In July 2019 Nolan signed for National league side F.C. Halifax Town on a one-year deal. Liam Nolan is a British Muay Thai fighter who competes for the ONE Championship organization. He is the reigning WBC Muay Thai World Middleweight Champion. Biography and career Early years Nolan grew up in London where he tried Wing Chun and Taekwondo before switching to Muay Thai and settling at The Minotaur Gym, future Knowlesy Academy. Under the teaching of Christian Knowles, Nolan started to compete regularly at the age of 13 in both Muay Thai and kickboxing rules often against older opponents. By the time he was 16 years old Nolan had decided to leave school and pursue a professional career. On 4 March 2017 Nolan captured his first professional title when he defeated Dean Blunt by unanimous decision, becoming the IKF Pro Muay Thai British champion.
