Liam Nolan (footballer)
Liam Joseph Nolan (born 20 September 1994) is a Northern Irish footballer who last played for Marine. Career Nolan began his career with Crewe Alexandra having left Everton's Youth Academy at the age of 16. He made his professional debut on 21 September 2013 in a 1–1 draw against Oldham Athletic. On 28 April 2014, Nolan signed a new two-year deal with the ''Railwaymen''. In May 2017 Nolan signed for Accrington Stanley. He scored his first goal for the club in an EFL Trophy tie against Middlesbrough Under-23s on 19 September 2017. Having won the League Two Championship Accrington exercised a contractual option at the end of the 2017–18 season to retain him. In November 2018 he joined Salford City on loan until January 2019. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). The 2016–17 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the second season under the new title of National League, thirteenth season consisting of three divisions and the thirty-eighth season overall. The National League covers the top two levels of non-League football in England. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup.
