Liam McMorrow
Liam Paul McMorrow (born July 22, 1987) is a Canadian professional basketball player. Player profile McMorrow is a former ice hockey player in his native Canada who only took up basketball seriously in 2008. He went undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft but has since shown a lot of improvement in stints in leagues around the world. His most recent stint was with the Halifax Rainmen of NBL Canada, where his team lost Game Seven of their championship game against Windsor Express by forfeiture. The Rainmen refused to play the deciding Game Seven at the Windsor Express’ home floor in Windsor, Ontario for "fear of their safety", following the 2015 NBL Canada Finals brawl. In June 2015, McMorrow joined the Los Angeles Clippers summer league team which participated in the 2015 NBA Summer League Orlando League. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Sean McMorrow
Sean McMorrow (born January 19, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger. He last played semi-professionally for the Jonquière Marquis of the LNAH. Originally selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, McMorrow played in 1 NHL game with the Sabres in the 2002–03 season. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, but grew up in Scarborough, Ontario. Playing career As a youth, McMorrow played in the 1996 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Wexford, Toronto. McMorrow was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 8th round, 258th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft from the Ontario Hockey League. The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is an open-application, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States. The 2022 edition features 64 teams with a $1 million winner-take-all prize, broadcast by ESPN. TBT was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Mugar. Format Teams in TBT are arranged by the general manager, sometimes based on which college basketball program the players competed for. The tournament has had as many as 97 teams, in 2015, and as few as 24 teams, in 2020. Since 2016, the tournament has most often used a 64-team field. The Basketball Tournament 2018 was the fifth edition of The Basketball Tournament, a 5-on-5, single elimination basketball tournament broadcast by the ESPN family of networks. The tournament involved 72 teams; it started on June 29 and continued through August 3, 2018. The winner of the final, Overseas Elite, received a two million dollar prize. Format The tournament started with a field of 72 teams, organized into four regions of 18 teams, all of which were seeded. 2015 NBA Summer League
The 2015 NBA Summer League consisted of three pro basketball leagues organized by the NBA: the Orlando Pro Summer League, Utah Jazz Summer League, and Las Vegas Summer League. Ten teams participated in the week-long Orlando Pro Summer League at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, from July 4 to 10, 2015.
