Li Juan
Li Juan (; born 15 May 1981 in Tianjin) is a female Chinese volleyball player. She was a key part of the gold medal winning teams at the 2005 Asian Championship, 2006 Doha Asian Games and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. Li joined Tianjin Bridgestone in 1998. During more than ten years of professional career, she and her teammates have won eight Chinese Volleyball League titles, two National Games of China titles and three AVC Club Championships titles. Career In 2000, Li entered China women's national junior volleyball team. In 2002, Li was called into China women's national volleyball team for the first time, along with her teammates in Tianjin Bridgestone, Li Shan, Zhang Ping and Zhang Na. China Women's National Volleyball Team
The China women's national volleyball team () represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. They are one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups (1981, 1985, 2003, 2015, 2019), two World Championships (1982, 1986) and three Olympic titles (1984, 2004, 2016). The current head coach is Cai Bin. China took five consecutive World titles in the 1980s. Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship
The Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Women's Club Tournament (between 1999 and 2002), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in Thailand. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively. The winner of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship qualifies for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Tianjin Bohai Bank holds the record for most victories, winning the competition five times. Teams from China have won the tournament eight times, the most for any nation. Chinese Volleyball League
Chinese Volleyball Super League, often abbreviated to CVL (abbreviation remain unchanged), are the pre-eminent men's and women's professional volleyball leagues in China. It was founded in 1996 as the Chinese Volleyball League and is organized by the Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA), operating with China National Sports Group (CNSG). The league was rebranded to the Chinese Volleyball Super League when it became fully professional in 2017. The champions qualify for the Asian Men's and Women's Club Volleyball Championships. The women's league normally starts in November and ends in March of the following year, while the men's league starts in October and ends in February of the following year, lasting for about four months. The 2010 Asian Games (), officially known as the XVI Asian Games () and also known as Guangzhou 2010 (), was a regional multi-sport event celebrated from November 12 to November 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, although several events commenced earlier on November 7, 2010. It was the second time China had hosted the Asian Games, with the first one being Asian Games 1990 hosted in Beijing.
