Lev HaMifratz Mall
Lev HaMifratz Mall ( he, קניון לב המפרץ, ''Kanyon Lev HaMifratz'', lit. ''Heart of the Bay Mall''), officially branded ''Cinemall'', is a shopping mall located in Haifa, Israel. Lev HaMifratz has three floors of stores, a food court, an underground parking garage, and an above ground parking garage. In the past, it included an amusement park, a miniature golf course and an ice skating rink. The area around Lev HaMifratz is also a transportation hub. Behind it is a train station, with trains to Nahariya and Tel Aviv. The entrance to the station is from the above ground parking garage. It is also adjacent to the Haifa Bay Central Bus Station, which is the main junction between the Krayot and the city of Haifa. Krayot
The Krayot ( he, הקריות, "townships") (plural of ''Kirya'') are a cluster of four small cities and two neighbourhoods of Haifa founded in the 1930s on the outskirts of the city of Haifa, Israel, in the Haifa Bay area. The Krayot include Kiryat Yam (pop. 36,700), Kiryat Motzkin (pop. 39,800), Kiryat Bialik (pop. 36,200), Kiryat Ata (pop. 33,800), as well as Kiryat Haim (pop. 26,960) and Kiryat Shmuel, Haifa (pop. 5,500, as of 2007.). A plan was formulated in 2003, and again in 2016 by Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, to merge the Krayot into one municipality. The Gulf War was a 1990–1991 armed campaign waged by a 35-country military coalition in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Scud
A Scud missile is one of a series of tactical ballistic missiles developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It was exported widely to both Second World, Second and Third World, Third World countries. The term comes from the NATO reporting name attached to the missile by Western intelligence agencies. The Russian names for the missile are the R-11 (the first version), and the R-17 (later R-300) Elbrus (later developments). The name Scud has been widely used to refer to these missiles and the wide variety of derivative variants developed in other countries based on the Soviet design. Scud missiles have been used in combat since the 1970s, mostly in wars in the Middle East.
