Elena Lev
Elena Lev, born in Moscow, Russia on December 1st 1981, began her training to become a rhythmic gymnast at an early age, assisted and coached by her mother, Elena Lev Sr. She developed a signature hula hoop act incorporating gymnastics and contortion. Her big breakthrough came when she was invited to join the '' Alegría'' touring troupe of Cirque du Soleil, of which she was a member from 1994 through 2000. She also performed briefly with the ''Quidam'' troupe in 2002. Gabriella Lev
Gabriella Lev is a theatre director, writer and performer. She co-founded the Theatre Company Jerusalem and currently serves as its artistic director. She has won many awards, including the Kipod Hazahav award for life achievement in fringe theatre, the My Jerusalem Award for contribution to cultural life in Jerusalem 2010, and the WIZO award. In 2016 Theatre Company Jerusalem spearheaded the first International Festival of Jewish Performance Arts. The festival has now become an annual event. Jaroslav Lev of Rožmitál (Jaroslav Lev of Rosental and Blatná) (c. 1425 – 23 October 1486) was a Bohemian nobleman from the Lords of Rosental, House of Lev of Rožmitál. This family came of an ancient and noble Buzice stock. In addition to the family castle in Rožmitál pod Třemšínem, Rožmitál they also held the Castles Blatná and Buzice. Very little is known of Jaroslav’s youth, but he was trained a soldier. Ray Lev (May 8, 1912 – May 20, 1968) was an American classical pianist. One year after her birth in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, her father, a synagogue cantor, and mother, a concert singer, brought her to the United States. Life Lev’s early piano studies were with Waiter Ruel Cowles in New Haven, Connecticut and Gaston Déthier in New York. She made her debut at age 17 in England performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 under Sir Landon Ronald.
