Letzte Instanz is a German violin-rock band, founded in Dresden, Germany, in 1996, particularly noted for their use of the violin and cello. The founding members included Hörbi, Tin Whistle, Muttis Stolz, Kaspar Wichman, Holly D. and Markus G-Punkt. Benni Cellini and Robin Sohn entered the group a year later. To date, they have released eleven studio albums, two live albums, two live DVDs, three singles and have appeared on a number of mix CDs. Biography When the band's first album, ''Brachialromantik'' (Brute Romance) was released, they earned swift comparisons to the giants of the popular German medieval metal genre like Subway to Sally and Tanzwut, despite objections from the band that this was not an accurate expression of their sound or style. Blue Man Group is an American performance art company formed in 1987. It was purchased in July 2017 by the Canadian company Cirque du Soleil. Blue Man Group is known for its stage productions, which incorporate many kinds of music and art, both popular and obscure. Its performers, known as Blue Men, have their skin painted blue. In Extremo (Latin for ''At the Edge''; abbreviated InEx or IE) is a German Medieval metal band originating from Berlin. The band's musical style combines metal with Medieval traditional songs, blending the sound of the standard rock/metal instruments with historical instruments (such as bagpipes, harp, hurdy-gurdy and shawm). Versions of well-known traditional/Medieval ballads make up the main part of their repertoire, but the band has written an increasing share of original material in recent years. Aylin Aslım (born 14 February 1976) is a Turkish singer, songwriter and actress. Aylin Aslım was born in Lich, Hessen, Germany into a Turkish family but moved to Turkey when she was only one year old. She sang in several rock and electronica bands in several night clubs in Istanbul. Her first album ''Gelgit'', released in 2001, was more of an electronic album. However, she switched back to rock in her later releases, one of which is her second album, "Gülyabani", which was released in 2005. The Inchtabokatables were a German band active from 1991 to 2002. The band only played on classical instruments (violins, cello, bass and drums). The band was known for their ''no guitar'' policy. Their style ranged from folk rock and Medieval rock to punk rock and on later albums even industrial. History The Inchtabokatables were formed on 7 February 1991 in a pub in Berlin called "Bärenschenke". The founding members were ''B. Breuler'', ''B. Deutung'', ''Herr Jeh'', ''Franzi Underdrive'' and ''Kokolorus Mitnichten''. Before joining The Inchtabokatables, ''B. Schandmaul
Schandmaul is a German medieval folk rock band from the Munich area. As well as using modern instruments such as the bass and electric guitar, the band also utilizes instruments typically used in Medieval folk songs such as the bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy or shawm, to produce their trademark folk rock sound. Schandmaul was nominated two times for the Echo Music Prize and has so far had six albums in the top ten German album charts and three top-ten albums in Austria. The name 'Schandmaul' translates roughly to 'evil tongue' and refers to their mascot of a grinning skeletal jester. Zeraphine is a German rock band from Berlin formed in 2000 by Sven Friedrich (vocals, programming, lead songwriting) and Norman Selbig (guitars) from the then-defunct Dreadful Shadows. History After the acclaimed goth rock band Dreadful Shadows decided to split and go their separate ways, Sven and Norman collaborated with ex-Dreadful Shadows producer Thommy Hein on a project called Helix.
