"Let It Rain" is a song by English pop boy band East 17, released on 13 March 1995 as the fourth single from their second album, ''Steam'' (1994). It reached number one in Lithuania and Israel, and the top 10 in Finland, Ireland and the UK. Additionally, it was a top 20 hit in Australia, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Norway. Critical reception Caroline Sullivan from ''The Guardian'' declared the song as an "unpretentious dancefloor sparkler". In his weekly UK chart commentary, James Masterton wrote that "Let It Rain" "turns back to the harder dance sound that typifies much of their output and sounds in places like a distant relation of their first hit " House of Love" back in September 1992." East 17 are an English pop boy band started by Tony Mortimer, Brian Harvey, John Hendy, and Terry Coldwell in 1991. As of 2020, the group consists of Coldwell, Robbie Craig, and Joe Livermore. East 17 have undergone multiple lineup changes, with Coldwell remaining the only constant member. The group has achieved eighteen top-20 singles and four top-10 albums, and they were one of the UK's most popular boy bands during the early to mid-1990s, aided by strong tabloid interest in their 'bad boy' image, compared to the 'clean-cut' image of rivals Take That. ''DV'' (''Dagblaðið Vísir'') is an online newspaper in Iceland published by Torg ehf. It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged. Early on it was one of the largest newspapers in Iceland and at one point had a 64% readership in Iceland.
