Let's Design
''Let's Design'' is an annual Indian reality television series on Zoom TV which focuses on fashion design. The contestants compete with each other in each episode to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials and theme. Their designs are judged, and one or more designers are eliminated each week. The show is sponsored by Cotton Council International and dedicated to the promotion of cotton. The show took place in Delhi for season 1 (2009) and Mumbai for seasons 2 and 3. The 2011 winner was Govind Kumar Singh Govind Kumar Singh is an Indian fashion designer. Cotton Council International
Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus '' Gossypium'' in the mallow family Malvaceae. The fiber is almost pure cellulose, and can contain minor percentages of waxes, fats, pectins, and water. Under natural conditions, the cotton bolls will increase the dispersal of the seeds. Zoom is an Indian glamour and entertainment television channel primarily covering Bollywood and based in Mumbai. The channel was launched in September 2004 and caters primarily to urban audiences. Govind Kumar Singh is an Indian fashion designer. He has appeared in two series of ''Let's Design'', a television reality show, on Zoom (Indian TV channel), Zoom and won the 2011 series. Early life and career Singh is from the Supaul district of Bihar. He graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Bangalore, India. , he was appointed as assistant professor, fashion design, at the NIFT campus in Shillong. In 2012–13 he conducted skills development programmes related to fashion design for the rural women of Assam. Recognition Singh's label, Rainush, was launched soon after he had success in a television competition. He won the reality-based competition ''Let's Design'' in 2011. 2009 Indian Television Series Debuts
