Let's Dance 2014 was the ninth season of the Swedish celebrity dance show Let's Dance. The show was broadcast on TV4 and the hosts were David Hellenius and Jessica Almenäs. Benjamin Wahlgren Ingrosso
Benjamin Daniele Wahlgren Ingrosso (born 14 September 1997) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and record producer. As a child, he appeared in the leading role in several musicals, and in 2006 he won Lilla Melodifestivalen with the song "Hej Sofia". He won the celebrity dancing TV show ''Let's Dance 2014'', and has competed twice in Melodifestivalen in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He won in 2018 and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, with the song "Dance You Off". Early life Ingrosso's mother Pernilla Wahlgren is a singer, and his father Emilio Ingrosso is a restaurateur. He is a self-taught pianist and guitarist. Career 2006–2013: Lilla Melodifestivalen 2006, singing and acting Ingrosso has acted in several musicals and plays such as '' Nils Karlsson Pyssling''. Let's Dance 2011 is the sixth season of the Swedish version of Strictly Come Dancing, and was broadcast on the Swedish television channel TV4 starting on 7 January 2011. The international ballroom version of samba is a lively, rhythmical dance with elements from Brazilian samba. It differs considerably from the original samba styles of Brazil; in particular, it differs from Samba de Gafieira, a partner type of Samba in that country. Rhumba
Rhumba, also known as ballroom rumba, is a genre of ballroom music and dance that appeared in the East Coast of the United States during the 1930s. It combined American big band music with Afro-Cuban rhythms, primarily the son cubano, but also conga and rumba. Quickstep
The quickstep is a light-hearted dance of the standard ballroom dances. The movement of the dance is fast and powerfully flowing and sprinkled with syncopations. The upbeat melodies that quickstep is danced to make it suitable for both formal and informal events. Quickstep was developed in the 1920s in New York City and was first danced by Black Americans. Pasodoble (Spanish language, Spanish: ''double step'') is a fast-paced Spanish military march used by infantry troops. Its speed allowed troops to give 120 steps per minute (double the average of a regular unit, hence its name). Jive (dance)
The jive is a dance style that originated in the United States from the African Americans in the early 1930s. The name of the dance comes from the name of a form of African-American vernacular slang, popularized in the 1930s by the publication of a dictionary by Cab Calloway, the famous jazz bandleader and singer. The foxtrot is a smooth, progressive dance characterized by long, continuous flowing movements across the dance floor. It is danced to big band (usually vocal) music. The dance is similar in its look to waltz, although the rhythm is in a time signature instead of . Cha-cha-cha (dance)
The cha-cha-cha (also called cha-cha), is a dance of Cuban origin. It is danced to the music of the same name introduced by the Cuban composer and violinist Enrique Jorrin in the early 1950s. This rhythm was developed from the danzón-mambo. The name of the dance is an onomatopoeia derived from the shuffling sound of the dancers' feet when they dance two consecutive quick steps (correctly, on the fourth count of each measure) that characterize the dance. In the early 1950s, Enrique Jorrín worked as a violinist and composer with the charanga group Orquesta América. The group performed at dance halls in Havana where they played danzón, danzonete, and danzon-mambo for dance-oriented crowds. Cecilia Ehrling
Cecilia Ehrling, (born 22 May 1984) is a Swedish competitive dancer. She has won the TV4 dance show '' Let's Dance'' three times, in 2007 along with Martin Lidberg and in 2010 with Mattias Andréasson and in 2013 she won with Markoolio. She has participated in the dance show every year since the 2007, dancing with celebrities like Richard Herrey, Anders Bagge, Anders Timell and Steffo Törnquist. In 2015, competed in Let's Dance 2015 where she teamed up with Ingemar Stenmark. She participated in Let's Dance 2016 with Johan Rabaeus the couple became the second to be voted off. She has also competed in Eurovision Dance Contest 2007 along with Martin Lidberg Martin Johan Lidberg (born 1 February 1973) is a Swedish former professional wrestler. Steffo Törnquist
Bo-Stefan "Steffo" Törnquist (born 12 January 1956) is a Swedish journalist, author, producer and television presenter. He is known for his television shows ''Steffos lustjakt'' and ''Steffo – din tröst i natten'', both on TV4. Career Törnquist hosted ''Steffos lustjakt'' and ''Steffo – din tröst i natten'' on TV4 in 1992 and 1993. Since 2000 he has been the host of ''Nyhetsmorgon'' on TV4, co-hosting with Jenny Strömstedt. He has had a long career with different news agencies, and in 1990 he took part in the creation of TV4's first hosting of TV4 News and TV4 Sport broadcasts. Between 1993 and 1995 he worked as a news reporter for ''Nyheterna'' on TV4. From 1995 to 2002, he worked as a producer for a number of documentaries amongst them, ''En svensk krigare i Vietnam'', ''Djävulens lotteri'' (about Louise Hoffsten), and ''Sprit'' all for TV4.
