''Les 100 tours de Centour'' was a 1971–1972 French language children's television show made in Quebec by Radio-Québec. Its stories revolved around Verbo, a genie Jinn ( ar, , ') – also romanized as djinn or anglicized as genies (with the broader meaning of spirit or demon, depending on sources) – are invisible creatures in early pre-Islamic Arabian religious systems and later in Islamic myt ... with magical power who was trying to recapture Centour (another genie who had escaped from the same land as Verbo).
