Lenzman
Lenzman (real name Teije van Vliet) is a drum & bass producer from Amsterdam, Netherlands who is signed to Metalheadz. In 2016 he launched his own record label The North Quarter, which, to this day, released music by himself, Redeyes and FD. His musical style can generally be categorized under the Liquid Funk subgenre. At one occasion, he articulated his vision to incorporate 90s' Hip Hop into drum & bass. Lenzman's remix of the Children of Zeus song ''Still Standing'' was voted as Best Remix at the 2016 Drum & Bass Arena awards. The Island (Pendulum Song)
"The Island" is the third single from Australian drum and bass band Pendulum to be released from their third studio album, ''Immersion''. It was released on 19 September 2010. "The Island" is a song split into two parts; "Dawn" and "Dusk", with "Dawn" receiving the majority of radio airplay. In a recent interview, Rob Swire stated that the premise of lyrics has to do with "two young lovers" and how they overcome adversity. The single includes remixes by DJ and record producer Tiësto, and by drum and bass DJ and record producer Lenzman. A Steve Angello, AN21 and Max Vangeli remix of the song was released as a digital single on 24 November 2010. To promote the single, Pendulum also held a remix competition, releasing a free pack of remix stems taken from the "Dawn" part which was won by Madeon at the age of 16. Metalheadz is a drum and bass record label based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1994 by Kemistry & Storm and Goldie. History Origins Goldie's early experiences of the rave scene, especially the club ''Rage'' had a profound effect on him. DJ Kemistry introduced him to 4hero's Reinforced Records where he went on to create some design and artwork for them, leading to doing A&R for the label. Paloma Ayana Stoecker (born 23 September 1990), who records under the name Delilah, is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Paris, France, Delilah moved to Hackney, London, England, at an early age where she later attended City and Islington College.
