The Lenne is a tributary of the river Ruhr in the Sauerland hills, western Germany. It has caused flooding in recent years. Lenne is river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a long, right-hand, eastern tributary of the river Weser in the district of Holzminden in the Weser Uplands. Course The Lenne rises on the northern edge of the Holzberg ridge. Its source is located at on the terrain of the parish of Wangelnstedt, above the village of Linnenkamp in ''Wolpersgrund'' field. The Lenne flows in a predominantly northwesterly direction through the villages of Linnenkamp and Wangelnstedt, where it passes the uplands of Elfas (max. ) to the west. After the village of Lenne the Lenne runs northeast past the hills of the Homburg Forest (max. ) and through the town of Eschershausen (with its suburb of Scharfoldendorf), from where it passes between the two ridges of the Ith (max. ; some distance off) to the north and Vogler (max. ) to the south. The Lenne Mountains (german: Lennegebirge), or Lenne Uplands (''Lennebergland''), is a range of hills up to high in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is part of the Süder Uplands within the Rhine Massif. Geography Location The Lenne Mountains lie in the Sauerland within the districts of Märkischer Kreis, Olpe and Hochsauerlandkreis. Lenne Hardt (born May 10, 1963) is an American voice actress and ring announcer for Japanese mixed martial arts organizations. Her resume includes PRIDE Fighting Championships, DREAM, ONE Championship and Glory World Series and she currently works in Rizin Fighting Federation. Hubert Carl "Bert" Lenne (2 August 1889 – 19 November 1973) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy Football Club, Fitzroy and St Kilda Football Club, St Kilda in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Lenne played as a defender, most often at full-back, and spent 13 seasons with Fitzroy from his debut in 1910. A premiership player in 1913 and 1916, Lenne left Fitzroy after being omitted from their 1922 VFL Grand Final, 1922 Grand Final side. He finished his career with two seasons at St Kilda. Peter Joseph Lenné (the Younger) (29 September 1789 – 23 January 1866) was a Prussian gardener and landscape architect. As director general of the Royal Prussian palaces and parks in Potsdam and Berlin, his work shaped the development of 19th-century German garden design in the Neoclassical style. Laid out according to the principles of the English landscape garden, his parks are now World Heritage Sites.
