Lenka Cenková (born 24 January 1977) is a former professional Czech tennis player. Career Singles In 1996, she achieved her best WTA Tour result by reaching the semifinals at the ECM Prague Open held at Karlovy Vary. She lost the semifinal match to Patty Schnyder 7–5, 6–7, 6–7. She also reached the quarterfinals at the 1996 Austrian Open held at Maria Lankowitz, beating the No. 2 seed, Judith Wiesner in the first round, and eventually losing to Sandra Cecchini, 3–6, 7–5, 2–6. In 1997, Cenková played in her first Grand Slam singles draws at the Australian Open and French Open, losing in the first round of both to Meilen Tu and Brenda Schultz-McCarthy, respectively. She did, however, reach the quarterfinals at the Hobart International in Australia, after wins over Barbara Rittner and Florencia Labat, succumbing to Dominique Van Roost in the quarterfinals in straight sets. Třinec
Třinec (; pl, Trzyniec ; german: Trzynietz) is a city in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. Judith Wiesner (née Pölzl; born 2 March 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. During her career, she won five top-level singles titles and three tour doubles titles. Her career high rankings were world No. 12 in singles (in 1997), and No. 29 in doubles (in 1989). In 1996, Wiesner was a quarterfinalist at both Wimbledon and the US Open. Magdalena Georgieva Maleeva ( bg, Магдалена Георгиева Малеева, ; born 1 April 1975) is a Bulgarian former professional tennis player. She played on the WTA Tour competing in singles and doubles, from April 1989 to October 2005 and has won ten career singles titles. Her best WTA singles ranking was world No. 4. Biography Born in Sofia, Maleeva is the youngest of the three children of Yuliya Berberyan and Georgi Maleev. The Birmingham Classic (currently sponsored by Rothesay Pensions) is a 250-level women's tennis tournament on the WTA Tour held at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Edgbaston, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Held at this location since 1982, the tournament is played on outdoor grass courts. It is seen as a warm up tournament for Wimbledon and a sister tournament to the men's Queen's Club Championships. Dominique Van Roost
Dominique Monami (born 31 May 1973) is a former tennis player from Belgium. She is her country's first ever top-10 tennis professional. Monami was born in Verviers. In 1995, she married her coach Bart Van Roost, with whom she has a daughter, and played under the name Dominique Van Roost for much of her career, until their divorce in 2003. Career Monami won her first WTA Tour tournament in 1996 in Cardiff (Welsh Open). Before this win, she had been on the ITF circuit where she won seven ITF events, five of which in 1990. Barbara Rittner (born 25 April 1973) is a German former professional tennis player. She currently is the captain of the German Fed Cup team. Her career-high singles ranking was No. 24 in the world, achieved on 1 February 1993. As a junior, she won the 1991 Wimbledon Championships. She won her first WTA Tour title in 1992, and almost nine years later, she won her second at the Belgian Open in Antwerp.
