Leif Terje Løddesøl
Leif Terje Løddesøl (24 April 1935 – 18 November 2021) was a Norwegian businessperson. He was born in Oslo as a son of Aasulv Løddesøl (1896–1978) and Liv Marie Bjørlykke (1905–1994). He has been married twice. He graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.jur. degree in 1960, and studied further, among others at the Hague Academy of International Law and the College of Europe in Brussels. After a period as deputy judge in Hardanger District Court he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1963 to 1966 and the Norwegian Shipowners' Association from 1966 to 1969. He was then the chief executive officer of ScanAustral from 1969 to 1973, Wilh. Wilhelmsen from 1973 to 1980 and Den norske Creditbank from 1980 to 1988. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. Statoil Corruption Case
The Statoil corruption case, also known as the Statoil-Horton case (Norwegian: Statoils Horton-sak) refers to Norwegian oil company Statoil’s misconduct and extensive use of bribery in Iran between 2002 and 2003, in an attempt to secure lucrative oil contracts for the company in that country. This was mainly achieved by hiring the services of Horton Investments, an Iranian consultancy firm owned by Mehdi Hashemi Rafsanjani, son of former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani. Horton Investments was paid US$15.2 million by Statoil to influence important political figures in Iran to grant oil contracts to Statoil. The corruption scandal was uncovered by Norwegian paper ''Dagens Næringsliv'' on September 3, 2003. Jannik Lindbæk (born 23 March 1939) is a Norwegian banker and businessperson. Personal life He was born in Oslo as a son of banker Jannik Lindbæk, Sr. (1906–1966) and chief physician Ellen Margrethe Lund. His aunt was journalist and war correspondent Lise Lindbæk, and he was a great-grandson of Elise Aubert In December 1963 he married teacher Grete Schjøttelvig. Career Lindbæk finished his secondary education in Oslo and earned a siv.øk. degree from the Norwegian School of Economics in 1961. Ole Lund (born 8 July 1934) is a Norwegian barrister and industrial leader. He was born in Hammerfest to lawyer Ole Lund (1903–1981) and Hjørdis Stavseth.
