Lee Si-woo (; born ) is a South Korean male volleyball player. Career Clubs In the 2016 V-League Draft, Lee was selected sixth overall by the Hyundai Capital Skywalkers. In the 2016–17 season, Lee won his first championship, helping the Skywalkers clinch their third V-League title. Playing as primarily a serving specialist, he served 12 aces while adding 13 kills and 10 digs. National team In May 2017 Lee was first selected for the South Korean senior national team to compete at the 2017 FIVB World League. Siheung
Siheung ( ) is a Administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The city has a population of 511,807 people, where 508,646 are residents out of 218,846 households as of August 2021. Siheung acquired its current administrative structure on January 1, 1989, the former Siheung County was divided into the cities of Siheung, Gunpo, and Uiwang. At the time, Siheung had a population of only 93,000. This number more than tripled in the following decade as massive suburban apartment complexes were developed. Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers
Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers is a South Korean professional volleyball team. The team was founded in 1983 and became fully professional in 2005. They are based in Cheonan and are members of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). Their home arena is Yu Gwan-Sun Gymnasium in Cheonan. They have won the championship four times, in 2006, 2007, 2017, and 2019. History In 1983, the team were established as Hyundai Motor Service Men's Volleyball Team. They had won the Korea Volleyball Super League five times between 1986 and 1995. In 2002, they were refounded as Hyundai Capital Men's Volleyball team. South Korea Men's National Volleyball Team
The South Korea men's national volleyball team ( ko, 대한민국 남자 배구 국가대표팀) represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Korea Volleyball Association. The Republic of Korea (ROK) has competed in the Olympic Games eight times, but has not featured since the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. The national team's best performance at the Olympic Games was 5th place at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, California, United States. The national team at the FIVB World Championship competed nine times, with their best result at 4th place in 1978. On continental level, The national team won three gold medals at the Asian Games in 1978, 2002 and 2006. Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
The Asian Men's Volleyball Championship is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. The initial gap between championships was four years, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Iran, which won its fourth title at the 2021 tournament. 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the nineteenth staging of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, the biennial international men's volleyball championship of Asia organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI). The tournament was held in Gresik, Indonesia from 24 July to 1 August 2017. Qualification The 16 AVC member associations submitted their men's national team to the 2017 Asian Championship. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 28th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament played by 36 teams between 2 June and 8 July. The Group 1 Final Round was held in Curitiba, Brazil. In front of a crowd of 23,149 fans, France lifted the FIVB Volleyball World League trophy for the second time of their history, prevailing on an epic battle over hosts Brazil 3–2.
