Lee Childs (born 6 November 1982, in Yeovil) is a retired British tennis player from England. Following match victories in 2000, Childs was hailed as "the future of British tennis" and a successor to Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski. Bridgwater
Bridgwater is a large historic market town and civil parish in Somerset, England. Its population currently stands at around 41,276 as of 2022. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. Biography Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Davis is the eldest of three brothers and was coached by his father Doug. James Nelson (born 18 February 1982) is a British former professional tennis player. Biography A right-handed player from Newcastle, Nelson won the boys' doubles title at the 2000 US Open, partnering Lee Childs. The US Open Tennis Championships is a hardcourt tennis tournament held annually in Queens, New York.
