LeeFest
Neverworld, formerly known as LeeFest, is a music festival that takes place each Summer in Kent, England. The festival began in founder Lee Denny's garden when his parents went away on holiday in 2006. Despite the festival's small scale in its first two years, by 2011 LeeFest grew into a two-day event with enough capacity for 2,000 people. The festival's capacity has since expanded to 5,000, moving to a new site in 2016. Around 200 volunteers help out during the festival. The festival has won two awards and been nominated for several more. Awards include: 'Best Independent Festival' at AIM Independent Music Awards, 2012 and 'Best Grass Roots Festival' at the UK Festival Awards 2009. Denny was awarded the Spirit of London Awards ‘Achievement in The Arts in December 2012. LeeStock Music Festival
The LeeStock Music Festival (originally known as LeeFest) is an annual music festival, held in Long Melford, Suffolk, since 2006 in memory of a local man, Lee Dunford, who died the same year. The festival raises money for the Willow Foundation, a national charity that gives special days to seriously ill young adults. The festival is part of a number of events that aim to raise the profile of the Willow Foundation and raise money for them including a pub crawl, a football match, and a Twenty20 cricket match. Prior to the 2012 festival, LeeStock has raised £25,000 for the Willow Foundation. In 2011, LeeStock was held over the weekend of 28 and 29 May and featured indie band Dodgy and ex-The Bluetones lead-singer Mark Morriss as the headline acts along with acts from all over the UK. UK Festival Awards
The UK Festival Awards are awarded annually, with various categories for all aspects of festivals that have taken place in the UK, and one category for European festivals. The Awards were first established in 2004 by Steve Jenner and his team at Virtual Festivals.com. They are voted for by the public via the UK Festival Awards website. To ensure fairness, the votes are weighted to take into account the event capacity. The 2008 Awards ceremony was held on 30 October 2008 at the IndigO2 venue in London. Nordoff–Robbins music therapy will receive funds raised on the night. The 2011 Awards ceremony was held at the Roundhouse in Camden, which remained its home until 2016. Benjamin Gerard Coyle-Larner (born 6 October 1994), known professionally as Loyle Carner, is an English hip hop musician. Noisettes are an English indie rock band from London, currently composed of singer and bassist Shingai Shoniwa and guitarist Dan Smith. The band first achieved commercial success and nationwide recognition with the second single of their second album, " Don't Upset the Rhythm (Go Baby Go)" which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in 2009. Krafty Kuts (real name Martin Reeves) is an English producer and DJ of electronic music and breakbeat. Maribou State
Maribou State are an English electronic music duo consisting of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory. To date, they have released eight EPs and two studio albums, ''Portraits'' (2015) and ''Kingdoms In Colour'' (2018). Besides their own material, the two producers have also done remixes for the likes of Alpines and Lana Del Rey. Young Fathers
Young Fathers are a Scottish band based in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2014, they won the Mercury Prize for their album ''Dead''. History Formed in Edinburgh in 2008 by Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole and Graham 'G' Hastings, the group started performing in nightclubs when the band members were all in their teens.
