Le Mobile
Le Mobile is a remote recording truck, a rolling recording studio based in Carlsbad, California since 1984. Owned and operated by Guy Charbonneau, it has been established since 1973 and has its origins in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In Cleveland, Ohio, Charbonneau recorded the soundtrack for One Trick Pony with Paul Simon in 1980, which was his first of many projects in the United States. Le Mobile has won numerous awards in the recording industry including an Emmy at the 52nd Annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards for Guy Charbonneau. Over the years, Charbonneau has recorded a wide variety of musical artists. Remote Recording Truck
Remote recording, also known as location recording, is the act of making a high-quality complex audio recording of a live concert performance, or any other location recording that uses multitrack recording techniques outside of a recording studio. The multitrack recording is then carefully mixed, and the finished result is called a remote recording or a live album. This is in contrast to a field recording which uses few microphones, recorded onto the same number of channels as the intended product. Remote recording is not the same as remote broadcast for which multiple microphones are mixed live and broadcast during the performance, typically to stereo. Remote recording and remote broadcast may be carried out simultaneously by the same crew using the same microphones. The Dark Side Of The Moon Live
The Dark Side of the Moon Live was a worldwide concert tour by Roger Waters, lasting two years. Waters and his band performed the titular album in its entirety at each show, beginning at the Rock in Rio festival on 2 June 2006. The tour featured elaborate stage design by Mark Fisher (the architect of Pink Floyd's ''The Wall'' shows), including giant puppets, large video screen displays and a 360° quadraphonic sound system. Studer is a designer and manufacturer of professional audio equipment for recording studios and broadcasters. The company was founded in Zürich, Switzerland, in 1948 by Willi Studer. It initially became known in the 1950s for its professional tape recorders. In the 1990s the company moved into the manufacture of mixing consoles. Management, sales, engineering, R&D and customer service were based in Regensdorf, Switzerland, until owners Harman International Industries closed down the Swiss entity in March 2018 transferring the now decentralized operation to China, Hungary, and the US. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly called the Coachella Festival or simply Coachella) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents. Herbie Hancock
Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (born April 12, 1940) is an American jazz pianist, keyboardist, bandleader, and composer. Hancock started his career with trumpeter Donald Byrd's group.
