Lay Me Down (Pixie Lott Song)
"Lay Me Down" is a song by English recording artist Pixie Lott from her self-titled third studio album (2014). The song was released on 25 July 2014 as the album's second and final single. Commercial performance "Lay Me Down" failed to chart within the top 100 of the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 114. Nevertheless, the single reached number seventy-eight on the UK Singles Sales Chart. Music video The music video for "Lay Me Down" was directed by Ben Falk and filmed in Cannes, France. According to Falk, Lott wanted the video to "evoke the glamour of Brigitte Bardot". The video premiered on 5 June 2014. Victoria Louise Lott (born 12 January 1991), better known by her stage name Pixie Lott, is an English singer and songwriter. Her debut album, '' Turn It Up'', released in September 2009, reached number six on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 1.5 million copies. It also spawned six consecutive top twenty singles on the UK Singles Chart, including two number-one singles, "Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)" and " Boys and Girls". The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010.
