Lavizān ( fa, لویزان) is a north-eastern neighborhood of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Lavizān area consists of a residential area and forested recreation area called Lavizān Forest Park. Lavizan (Persian:لَویزان, also romanized as Lavizān) is a forest park located in Shemiranat County in Tehran Province, Iran (North East Tehran). Lavizan Forest Park is a recreation area used by people from Lavizan and Tehran. Its area is about 1100 hectares. Shahid Rajaee University
Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University (SRTTU), is a public university in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The university is named for Mohammad Ali Rajaee, the second president of Iran. The university is located in the North East of Tehran, in the Lavizan neighborhood. The university was initially founded as the Tehran American School in 1974, but was reestablished as a university in 1980.
