Lavanya Sivaji
Lavanya Sivaji (born 28 November 1996) is a Malaysian doctor and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2021, and was selected to represent Malaysia at Miss World 2021. Personal life Lavanya was born in Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia. She is of Indian descent and her great grandparents migrated from Tamil Nadu, India to Malaysia. She speaks three languages, Tamil, Malay, and English. In 2005, she moved from Taman Seri Gombak to Rawang, Selangor. From 2009 to 2013, she attended SMK Seri Garing Rawang & completed her foundation studies in Kolej Matrikulasi Kedah. In 2015, she enrolled at the National Defence University of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to pursue her medical degree. Batu Caves
Batu Caves ( ta, பத்து மலை : Pathumalai) is a mogote (a type of karst landform) that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Malay word ''batu'', meaning 'rock'. The hill was originally known as ''Kapal Tanggang'' from the legend of Si Tanggang. The town nearby is named after the Batu Caves limestone formation. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of the Tamil festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia. Miss World Malaysia 2019, the 52nd edition of the Miss World Malaysia pageant. The coronation night was held on October 6, 2019 at Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur. Special guests include renowned Malaysian model, actress, TV host Amber Chia, Dewi Liana Seriestha (Miss World Malaysia 2014) and Larissa Ping (Miss World Malaysia 2018). Wenanita Angang (born 8 May 1996) is a Malaysian data scientist, advocate of hippotherapy for autistic children, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2022. She was born and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, and is of mixed Dusun Tatana and Murut descent. Prior to becoming Miss World Malaysia 2022, one of her previous major achievements included being crowned as Miss Planet Malaysia in 2016 and placed as first runner-up in Batumi, Georgia.
