Laurence Ryder
Laurence "Loz" Ryder (born 28 December 1966) is an Australian former darts player who competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Career Ryder was born in Britain but in 2001 moved from Derby to Western Australia. In 2013 he won the Dosh Perth Open by beating Conan Ugle 6–3 in the final. Ryder played the full circuit of Australian Grand Prix events for the first time in 2014 and won five events as well as being the runner-up in five others to top the rankings. As a result, he qualified for the Perth Darts Masters and Sydney Darts Masters, losing in the opening rounds to Raymond van Barneveld and Peter Wright respectively. His top ranking also ensured him a debut at the PDC World Darts Championship in 2015. He won six successive legs from 2–1 down in sets against world number 17 Justin Pipe to beat him 3–2. Terry Jenkins (born 26 September 1963) is an English former professional darts player who was nicknamed The Bull, having previously used the name "Tucker" for his matches. Corey Patrick Cadby (born 18 March 1995) is an Australian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He was the 2016 World Youth champion. Career A native of Tasmania, Cadby began competing in Darts Players Australia (DPA) events in 2016 after relocating to Melbourne. He won seven events during his debut season on the DPA Australian Grand Prix circuit, and finished first in the rankings, thus securing qualification for the 2017 PDC World Championship. Vincent Van Der Voort
Vincent van der Voort (born 18 December 1975) is a Dutch professional darts player on the PDC circuit. As of the 2012 PDC World Darts Championship, his nickname is the "Dutch Destroyer", although he used to go by "Grease Lightning". He is best known for his quick throwing style, which is how he got his temporary nickname "The Fastest Player in the World". He reached the final of the 2007 UK Open, which helped him become a well known face in the world of darts. 2016 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2016 William Hill World Darts Championship was the 23rd World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event was held at the Alexandra Palace, London, between 17 December 2015 and 3 January 2016. Gary Anderson was the defending champion, having won his first world title in the 2015 final by beating 16-times champion Phil Taylor 7–6. He retained his title by beating Adrian Lewis 7–5. He also threw a nine-dart finish in his semi-final against Jelle Klaasen to add a bonus £15,000 to his winnings, and hit two maximum checkouts of 170 in the progress. 2015 Auckland Darts Masters
The 2015 TAB & Burger King Auckland Darts Masters was the inaugural staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation, as a fifth and final entry in the 2015 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (eight PDC players facing eight regional qualifiers) and was held at The Trusts Arena in Auckland, New Zealand from 28–30 August 2015. Adrian Lewis
Adrian Lewis (born 21 January 1985) is an English professional darts player currently playing in the PDC. He is a two-time PDC World Darts Champion, winning in 2011 and 2012. He is nicknamed Jackpot, as he won a jackpot gambling in Las Vegas in 2005, but he was unable to collect the money as he was 20 years old, below the US legal gambling age of 21. During the early part of his career until 2007, Lewis was a protégé of 16-time world champion Phil Taylor, with whom he practised in their home city Stoke-on-Trent.
