Laurence Belcher
Laurence Joseph Belcher (born 27 December 1995) is an English actor, best known for his roles as Young Kazran in ''Doctor Who'' and as Young Charles Xavier in '' X-Men: First Class''. He also starred as Maurice Dumont in ''The Shadow Within'' and ''Gracie!''. After attending City of London Freemen's School in Ashtead, Surrey, he studied Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Oxford, completing his degree in 2018. Career Belcher made his film debut as Maurice Dumont in horror/thriller ''The Shadow Within'' and went on to star in '' Messengers 2'' and '' X-Men: First Class''. He also had a major part in ''Doctor Who'' episode "A Christmas Carol", based on ''A Christmas Carol'' by Charles Dickens, as the 12-year-old Kazran. Surrey () is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in South East England, bordering Greater London to the south west. Alex Jennings (born 10 May 1957) is an English actor of the stage and screen, who worked extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre. Days Of Future Past
"Days of Future Past" is a storyline in the Marvel Comics comic book ''The Uncanny X-Men'' issues #141–142, published in 1981. It deals with a dystopian future in which mutants are incarcerated in internment camps. An adult Kate Pryde transfers her mind into her younger self, the present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a fatal moment in history that triggers anti-mutant hysteria. The storyline was produced during the franchise's rise to popularity under the writer/artist team of Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin. The dark future seen in the story has been revisited numerous times, and was the basis for the 2014 similarly titled feature film '' X-Men: Days of Future Past'', wherein Wolverine is sent back in time. National Theatre Live
National Theatre Live is an initiative operated by the Royal National Theatre in London, which broadcasts live via satellite, performances of their productions (and from other theatres) to cinemas and arts centres around the world. About I grew up in Manchester in the 60s. If I had been able to see Olivier's National Theatre at my local cinema, I would have gone all of the time. :— Nicholas Hytner, director of the Royal National Theatre. The programme began its pilot season in June 2009 with a production of ''Phèdre'', starring Helen Mirren, which screened live in 70 cinemas across the UK. Two hundred more venues eventually showed the production internationally, resulting in a combined audience of around 50,000 people for this one performance. ''Little Dorrit'' is a novel by Charles Dickens, originally published in serial form between 1855 and 1857. The story features Amy Dorrit, youngest child of her family, born and raised in the Marshalsea prison for debtors in London. Arthur Clennam encounters her after returning home from a 20-year absence, ready to begin his life anew. The novel satirises some shortcomings of both government and society, including the institution of debtors' prisons, where debtors were imprisoned, unable to work and yet incarcerated until they had repaid their debts. The prison in this case is the Marshalsea, where Dickens's own father had been imprisoned. Dickens is also critical of the impotent bureaucracy of the British government, in this novel in the form of the fictional "Circumlocution Office". ''To Kill a Mockingbird'' is a 2018 play based on the 1960 novel of the same name by Harper Lee, adapted for the stage by Aaron Sorkin.
