Lars Grini (born 29 June 1944) is a Norwegian former ski jumper who competed between 1966 and 1972. Career His best-known successes were at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, where he won a bronze medal in the individual large hill event, and another bronze medal in the individual normal hill at the 1970 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. He represented the club SFK Lyn. A ski is a narrow strip of semi-rigid material worn underfoot to glide over snow. Substantially longer than wide and characteristically employed in pairs, skis are attached to ski boots with ski bindings, with either a free, lockable, or partially secured heel. For climbing slopes, ski skins (originally made of seal fur, but now made of synthetic materials) can be attached at the base of the ski.
