Lars-Fredrik Nyström
Lars-Fredrik Nyström (born August 10, 1949) is a retired Swedish ice hockey player. He started his professional career in Skellefteå AIK where he played until 1977 when he joined Djurgårdens IF Djurgårdens Idrottsförening, commonly known simply as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården (), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (), Dif or DIF – is a Swedish sports association with several sections, located in Stockholm. Name The club is named .... He ended his playing career after the 1981–82 season in the same club. During the following season Nyström became assistant coach to head coach Gunnar Svensson. When Svensson was fired January 21, 1986, Nyström along with former Djurgården player and team captain Håkan Eriksson coached Djurgården for the rest of the 1985–86 season. Djurgårdens IF Ishockeyförening – commonly known as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården Hockey, Djurgården () – is a professional ice hockey team based in Stockholm, Sweden, affiliated with the Djurgårdens IF umbrella organization. Gunnar Svensson
Gunnar Svensson (27 June 1956 – 31 January 2020) was a Swedish people, Swedish ice hockey player, Coach (ice hockey), head coach and sports agent. During his playing career Svensson played for Örnsköldsvik and IF Björklöven. He began his coaching career in Örnsköldsvik before signing on to IK Vita Hästen. Svensson coached his first and only Swedish Hockey League, Elitserien club when he signed on a five-year contract with Djurgårdens IF Hockey, Djurgårdens IF in 1984. Svensson's first season in Djurgården went well, the team won the league and beat Färjestads BK in the semifinals. However, Södertälje SK proved to be too hard in the final and became Swedish champions. The following season was quite the opposite; Djurgården was close to being relegated, and Svensson was subsequently fired on 26 January 1986. Håkan Eriksson (ice Hockey)
Håkan Lars Elias Eriksson (born January 24, 1956) is a retired Swedish ice hockey player. Eriksson began playing hockey in Bjurfors IF but was acquired by Skellefteå AIK in 1974. He became Swedish champions with Skellefteå in 1978, and was a part of Sweden's 1979 World Championship team that won bronze. During the following season he was also part of Sweden's Olympic team in the 1980 Winter Olympics. After four seasons with Skellefteå, Eriksson moved to Stockholm and Djurgårdens IF. He won his second Swedish championship in 1983 with Djurgården. He was the team captain for two seasons, from 1982 to 1984, when he finished his career in Djurgården. During his final season in Djurgården he was again part of Sweden's Olympic team in the 1984 Winter Olympics. The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. Kvalserien, also known as ''Kvalserien till SHL'', was the Swedish round-robin ice hockey tournament to qualify for play in the next season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL, previously named Elitserien), Sweden's top-level ice hockey league for men. It was replaced by a playoff round in the 2014–15 season.
