Larrington Walker
Larrington St Anthony Walker (1946 – 3 September 2017) was a Jamaican-born British actor. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Walker emigrated to the UK in 1956. Walker starred in the British television drama Taboo, and starred in movies such as ''Second Coming'' (2014), and ''Human Traffic'' (2000), as well as appearing in ''Minder'' (1982), ''The Bill'' and ''Inspector Morse''. For three seasons from 2008, he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and performed in productions of ''Julius Caesar'', '' The Winter’s Tale'', ''King Lear'', and '' Antony and Cleopatra'', among others. Walker also worked with Lenny Henry in the BBC Radio 4 comedy ''Rudy’s Rare Records''. Walker also played Rudy, the father of Adam (Henry), in the 2014 stage version which was performed both at the Birmingham Rep and the Hackney Empire. He died on 3 September 2017. Kingston, Jamaica
Kingston is the capital and largest city of Jamaica, located on the southeastern coast of the island. It faces a natural harbour protected by the Palisadoes, a long sand spit which connects the town of Port Royal and the Norman Manley International Airport to the rest of the island. Lenny Henry
Sir Lenworth George Henry (born 29 August 1958) is a British actor, comedian, singer, television presenter and writer. Henry gained success as a stand-up comedian and impressionist in the late 1970s and early 1980s, culminating in ''The Lenny Henry Show'' in 1984. He was the most prominent black British comedian of the time and much of his material served to celebrate and parody his African-Caribbean roots. In 1985, he cofounded the charity Comic Relief with the comedy screenwriter Richard Curtis. He has appeared in numerous other TV programmes, including children's entertainment show ''Tiswas'', sitcom ''Chef!'' and '' The Magicians'' for BBC One, and in his later years has transitioned toward acting roles in stage and screen. Hackney Empire
Hackney Empire is a theatre on Mare Street, in the London Borough of Hackney. Originally designed by Frank Matcham it was built in 1901 as a music hall, and expanded in 2001. Described by ''The Guardian'' as ‘the most beautiful theatre in London’ it is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. History Hackney Empire is a grade II* listed building.
